The Voib

The Voib appears, at first glance, to be a miasma of swirling shadows and darkness outside the Youtube Headquarters. The two layers are connected by a large window and a door labelled 'recording', where the Voib-dwellers sometimes put on performances to assist the Youtubers with videos. Hidden behind this 'main stage' area is a series of tunnels, seemingly underground, connecting a variety of strange locations and generally having a close, home-like feeling. One could get lost in these tunnels if they wandered too far and didn't know where they were going...

Front Room

The front room for the voib is also the main stage where they interact with the Youtubers, only differentiated by a switch and a curtain that divides the stage in two. When members of the Voib are fronting or wish to front, they tend to take over a portion of the main stage, which they 'transform' into a set that fits them, always including a computer of some kind which is used to interface with front. Due to the individualised nature of these sets, it would be nigh-impossible to describe them in this section, and instead we will simply state that these sets always include a computer and are always surrounded by darkness.

Function

The Voib is home to many masking and hidden headmates, sneaking through the tunnels 'backstage' and sliding through darkness. Only the loudest and most gregarious folks from this layer tend to be known. As this layer is themed around being hidden, masking, and theatre, it is theorized it exists to concentrate the systems need to mask around outer folks and satisfy the need, or at least some of the need, for being hidden and thus 'safe'. Due to this nature, attempts to learn too much about the nature of the Voib can often be construed as a threat, and it's advised that outsiders not question it at all.
