Zim is a short irken being, with green skin and large, magenta colored eyes. He usually wears a ribbed red shirt and an irken backpack.

Zim is a very bold individual. It previously acted as a persecutor, trying to fight everyone around it at any opportunity, and has over time taken this readiness and turned it into a deep knowledge of fighting and how to fight without hurting anyone, to get the emotions out safely without harming any of the participants. It sometimes gets too into a fight performance, scaring people into thinking it's serious, but Zim's friends usually calm it down long enough for it to get control and make sure everything is being done safely.
